Responsibilities
Participate in designing and producing novel gene therapies candidates
Develop NGS-based high throughput in vitro screens
Collaborate with peers within the Gene Editing team and broader research teams to develop candidate therapeutics
Author and review protocols, electronic notebook entries, technical reports, and scientific publications
Maintain proper documentation of experimental procedures and results
Qualification
Required
Completed PhD in a biological sciences discipline
At least 1+ year of relevant, industry-based experience
Experience with assay development
Experience building assays that screen proteins
Experience with gene editing
Experience with NGS
Experience with mammalian tissue culture
Experience with protein expression/purification
Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques required
Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive problem-solving attitude and strong willingness to take on new challenges a must
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills required
Must be exceptionally self-motivated and independent
Excellent organizational and communication skills required
Preferred
Knowledge of immunology a plus
Experience working with AAV/LNP a plus
Experience with flow cytometry a plus
Experience with in vivo work a plus
