Responsibilities
Great visitors and answer incoming phone calls in a professional and pleasant manner; respond promptly to client needs and requests for service and assistance
Take detailed messages and deliver them in a timely and appropriate manner
Check all agents/advisors calendars daily and display a welcome sign for visitors
Receive and distribute faxes
Manage and track office supplies, reorder when necessary
Handle all out-bound mailing initiatives including monthly birthday letters
Assist as back-up for other department mailings
Assist with monthly commission entry
Routinely review databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
Enter new client and prospect records regularly
Update contact information from returned mail and bounced emails
Act as back up and support for other departments’ administration needs
Qualification
Required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Microsoft Office products with strong knowledge of Excel and Word
Ability to follow procedures and develop best-practices for the office as necessary
Critical thinking and good judgment
Professional, courteous and service-oriented demeanor
High accuracy in data entry with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment and complete tasks on-time
Desire to see tasks and projects to completion
Fast learner and interest in developing knowledge of insurance and financial services
Customer service: 1 year (Required)
Data entry: 1 year (Required)
Computer skills: 2 years (Required)
