They are seeking an Accounting Manager responsible for maintaining financial procedures and ensuring financial compliance through the preparation of reports and statements for their food service operation.

Food and Beverage

Responsibilities

Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts for the venues
Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, month end closure
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
Responding to information requests for produced financial statements, and assisting with internal and external audits
Presenting and communicating Financial statements, reports, and updates to Senior Leadership
Ensuring compliance with GAAP
Assisting GM, Controller and CFO with any projects as needed
Performs other related duties as needed

Qualification

Accounting degreeFinancial reportingGAAP complianceSage IntacctUS tax regulationsMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

Degree in Accounting or Finance required
At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read and analyze financial reports
Strong understanding of US tax regulations

Preferred

Working knowledge of relevant Financial software, experience with Sage Intacct, Ottimate (formerly PlateIQ) preferred
