Maintenance Manager - CONTROLS
Comprehensive Logistics (CLI) is a leading 3PL company utilizing advanced technology and machine learning to enhance supply chain efficiency. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager - Controls to lead a maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and performance of production machines and plant facilities.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a maintenance team comprised of maintenance supervisors and maintenance technicians on all shifts. This includes hands-on responsibility in installing and maintaining production machines and the plant facilities equipment
Coach team members to utilize work instructions, processes and problem solving on the floor
Leading all phases of daily, weekly, monthly maintenance tasks
Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections on machines, equipment and plant facilities
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Leads supervisors and technicians in performing mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Program, test and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems and controls (Siemens - Step 7, Allen Bradley - Ladder Logic)
Seek continuous improvement on processes and safety for the entire maintenance function within the plant
Achieving site performance for uptime, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness and building maintenance
This role requires regular presence on the plant floor and may require occasional work in challenging weather including heat and cold
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with preference in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience, and/or Electrician Journeyman Card and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
A minimum of five (5) years of Maintenance Management experience
PLC programming competency including the ability to write, troubleshoot and understand ladder logic
Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, RFID scanning equipment
Automotive background experience required specifically with experience related to sequencing, just-in-time (JIT) and sub-assembly
Preferred
Assembly experience highly desirable such as Wheel and Tire assembly or other automotive assembly
Working knowledge of value-added subassembly for both chassis and trim components and modules
Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles
