Business Systems Analyst II (FP&A)
DPP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an opportunity with a Financial Planning and Analysis team in Columbia, SC. The Business Systems Analyst II will support customer needs in both business and technical contexts, ensuring solutions align with business objectives while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities
The Business Systems Analyst II will support a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment
This role is responsible for defining customer needs in both business and technical contexts and ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives
The analyst supports business and technical needs across multiple systems while managing competing priorities and mandated deadlines
The position requires strong judgment in planning, prioritization, and determining when and what to delegate in order to meet time‑sensitive demands
The analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders, contribute to change management efforts, and support process improvement initiatives
The role operates in a multi‑platform environment and may require off‑hours responsiveness to support critical business operations
Strong organizational skills, adaptability, collaboration, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential for success in this role
Qualification
Required
Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related degree
OR, Associates degree in CS, Bus. Admin, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
Preferred
Proficiency Microsoft 365 Products
MS Azure, MS Power Platform (Power Query, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate tasks and coordinate processes involving large groups to ensure seamless operations
Strong Business Acumen: Strong understanding of the broader business context, with the ability to look beyond data and see the bigger picture
Outstanding Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to engage with customers daily, deliver outstanding service, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
HIPAA
LOMA
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job related field
Or, 4 years of job-related experience with government business and/or client companies
