Responsibilities
Develop algorithmic models using business and data knowledge, mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and deep learning
Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into mathematical and statistical models
Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models to solve business problems
Work closely with ML engineers to validate, train, and deploy the models
Stay updated with the latest research and developments in AI and machine learning to ensure innovative and cutting-edge solutions
Qualification
Required
PhD or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong background in machine learning and deep learning, with expertise in algorithm development and optimization
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, with the ability to write and debug code independently
Experience in developing mathematical models for business applications, preferably in finance, trading, image-based AI, biomedical modeling, or recommender systems industries
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Candidates with experience in quantitative trading, risk management, or financial modeling are preferred
