Somewhere is seeking a senior-level, technical, and data-driven Marketing Manager to build and scale their direct-to-consumer marketing engine. The role focuses on managing customer acquisition through paid media and SEO, requiring both technical expertise and creative skills.

Responsibilities
Search Engine Marketing: Set up, manage, and optimize Google and Bing Search campaigns targeting high-intent local keywords for appliance repair
Local Service Ads (LSA): Manage LSA profiles, including optimization, lead quality review, and dispute handling to ensure maximum ROI
Social Advertising: Run Facebook and Instagram ads for local brand awareness, retargeting, and seasonal promotions
Testing & Strategy: Own the whole marketing strategy across these verticals, building campaigns from scratch and maintaining a heavy focus on performance testing
GBP Management: Daily oversight of the Google Business Profile, including posts, photos, updates, and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency
Review Generation: Design and manage a system to ensure direct customers are prompted for reviews via SMS or email to build local authority
Visual Assets: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to design digital and print-ready materials such as door hangers, yard signs, and vehicle wrap concepts
Note on Creative: We prefer a hybrid candidate who is both technical and creative. However, if you are a "technical genius" with limited design skills, we are open to hiring one-off support for creative production
Landing Page Optimization: Create and optimize high-conversion landing pages focused on driving calls and bookings
Lifecycle Marketing: Build and manage email and SMS campaigns for seasonal reminders and customer reactivation
Direct Outreach: Conduct research and outreach to local property managers, realtors, and HOAs to establish long-term B2B service relationships
Qualification
Required
5+ years of digital marketing experience
Preferably, candidate has experience with US-based home service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or appliance repair)
Proven track record of building and managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and local search strategies from scratch
Ability to operate with high autonomy and build a marketing function without a pre-existing roadmap
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is highly valued for this role
Exceptional written and spoken English with the ability to write local-oriented, high-conversion copy
Local SEO Experience
Committed to the required PST overlap and available for a long-term, stable partnership
