Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Apache Kafka clusters (AWS MSK / Confluent)
Build and maintain Kafka Connect pipelines for ETL and data integration
Develop real-time stream processing using Kafka Streams
Manage Schema Registry and ensure data compatibility and governance
Monitor, tune, and optimize Kafka performance and reliability
Ensure high availability, security, and fault tolerance of streaming systems
Qualification
Required
9+ years of experience in data engineering / streaming platforms
Strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams
Hands-on experience with AWS (MSK, EC2, S3, IAM)
Experience with ETL pipelines and real-time data processing
Knowledge of Schema Registry (Avro/Protobuf/JSON)
Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
