Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies within a tech-focused workplace such as an office, studio, or data center environment
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors; assist with badging and/or visitor logs per site procedures
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request medical, fire, and/or law enforcement support when appropriate and within scope
Document observations, patrol activity, and incidents in reports and shift logs; communicate pertinent information to site contacts and incoming officers during shift transitions
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
