Responsibilities

Lead integration of robotic systems into manufacturing lines, including, fixtures, vision systems, and safety circuits
Program and optimize robotic welding applications (spot, MIG, TIG, laser as applicable)
Develop and validate weld programs to meet quality, strength, and cosmetic requirements
Support design and refinement of fixtures, tooling, and cell layouts to enable robust automation
Own process validation activities including PPAP support, and production readiness reviews
Establish and monitor quality standards for robotic welding and automated processes
Analyze weld data and inspection results to drive continuous quality improvement
Troubleshoot robotic systems, weld defects, and automation faults
Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve process issues
Lead equipment commissioning, runoffs, and production launches
Train operators and technicians on robotic operation, quality checks, and troubleshooting
Drive cycle time, uptime, and first-pass-yield improvements
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or related field is preferred
2+ years of experience in related industry is required
2+ years of experience with Robotics is desired
Valid Driver's License
Strong communication skills required
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees
Proficiency in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, and numerical methods
Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
Ability to find a solution for, or to deal proactively with, work-related problems
Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information

Preferred

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is preferred
NX CAD or related design software experience is desired
2-4 years of experience in related industry is preferred
