Responsibilities

Draft bankruptcy motions and other filings
Attend hearings and court appearances
Communicate with clients, internal staff, and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately
Prioritize and manage a high volume of files with great attention to detail and under strict deadlines
Perform quality control reviews of documents and staff work
Demonstrate proficiency in inputting and maintaining information in a case management system to ensure data integrity
Handle a caseload by firm, client, and court timeline requirements
Analyze legal issues and review strategies for assigned matters with the Managing Attorney
Work with department staff to ensure timely updates to client systems and the firm’s case management system
Timely communication with clients on the status of case matters
Prepare and review a variety of legal documents for legal sufficiency and compliance with client directives and state/federal law
Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, and codes, and prepare foreclosure-related motions, complaints, responsive pleadings, and briefs
Review and analyze real estate law and real estate title cases, and have the ability to handle substantive real estate and title litigation matters
Prioritize and manage an assigned portfolio of work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating great attention to detail and accountability
