Senior FPA/Treasury Analyst
Confidential Careers is seeking a Senior FP&A and Treasury Analyst to lead the development and implementation of treasury strategies that align with overall financial objectives. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast company performance, covering revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability
Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, key drivers, and performance patterns
Provide actionable recommendations based on financial modeling and scenario analysis
Contribute to M&A analysis, due diligence, and corporate finance activities
Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and financial modeling techniques
Translate data insights into actionable business strategies
Understand the business context of the problems you're solving with data
Develop and maintain a debt model to integrate with budgeting and cash planning processes
Lead monthly meetings to review the company’s cash position
Oversee the treasury cash forecasting process by collaborating with business units to analyze and consolidate forecasts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to stay informed on factors that impact cash flow
Assist with insurance management and annual renewal processes
Lead the FP&A team’s development of 3-statement models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for forecasting and budgeting
Consolidate the annual budget by incorporating assumptions from key departments and preparing presentations for senior leadership
Continuously improve accuracy by aligning with key business drivers and identifying the root causes of variances
Develop analytical tools and models to drive efficient revenue and expense management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
Extensive experience in financial modeling
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance
4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Treasury, Commercial Banking, or Financial Consulting
Preferred
Experience as a data scientist or background in computer science
Advanced degrees such as an MBA, or certifications like CPA, CFA, or CTP
Experience building financial models for M&A, new products, and financial statements
Proficiency in using data analytics in everyday work
Familiarity with ERP financial systems
