Lexington Medical is a Boston based medical device manufacturer that produces a proprietary, minimally invasive surgical stapling solution. They are seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage and execute the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipping of their products.

Responsibilities

Pick parts for production orders
Perform cycle counts
Maintain first in, first out (FIFO) of both raw materials and finished goods
Receive deliveries, accurately count contents and enter data into MRP system
Document damaged shipments and quantity discrepancies
Deliver received parts to proper storage locations
Pull devices from finished goods to fulfill customer orders
Pack customer orders carefully to prevent damage during shipping
Prepare shipping documentation (UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in other departments as necessary

Required

Education – High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail is imperative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic mathematics and computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Well organized
Ability to work independently and prioritize varying demands for time
Ability to manipulate small parts
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, lift, carry
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds

Preferred

1-2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred
Medical device or other regulated industry experience is a plus
Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus
