Responsibilities
Facilitate 1:1 and small-group coaching that converts student objectives into reliable follow-through and trackable outcomes
Leverage analytics and individual goals to identify obstacles and design ambitious, personalized motivation strategies
Conduct high-rigor life-skills workshops grounded in authentic narratives, guided reflection, and practical application, then evaluate mastery
Guide daily opening sessions that establish culture, communicate high standards, and prepare students before work begins
Build trusted relationships with students and families through consistent expectations, dependability, and mature judgment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
At least one verifiable elite marker (competitive athletics, academic distinction, professional achievement, or elite-level coaching)
Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, or leadership roles that produced measurable improvement in others' performance
Proven capability to function in high-accountability settings with defined standards and consistent execution
Capacity to facilitate compelling, high-rigor group workshops and coach individuals with sound judgment
Commitment to full-time, in-person work at an Alpha campus location: San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or New York City, NY
Authorization to work legally in the United States
Preferred
Track record of applying data and analytics to shape coaching strategies and accountability systems
Experience in highly selective organizations, competitive startup environments, or elite athletic programs with rigorous performance cultures
