V2X Inc is growing and is looking for a 2026 Mechanical Engineering Intern to join their team. The intern will provide support in instrumentation planning and testing, contribute to project milestones, and follow established engineering processes under supervision.

Responsibilities

Providing basic support in instrumentation planning and test conduct of Environmental Tests including vibration, mechanical shock, temperature, altitude, humidity and structural testing
Providing basic support to preparation of test plans, schedules, test reports and technical documentation of project work
Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team
Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leaders
Following established Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures

Required

Providing basic support in instrumentation planning and test conduct of Environmental Tests including vibration, mechanical shock, temperature, altitude, humidity and structural testing
Providing basic support to preparation of test plans, schedules, test reports and technical documentation of project work
Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team
Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leaders
Following established Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures
This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements
Positive attitude and proven leadership skills
Customer focus and ability to collaborate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Systems, Electrical, Software, Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or related course work
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a technical degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or Systems), Computer Science or a closely related STEM field
Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post graduate status as of Spring 2026. The level will be based on the candidate's qualifications, including degree credits earned
A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired
