Start in 2026 SummerMyers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health and human services consulting firm, specializing in audit, accounting, data management and consulting services. The Business Analyst Intern will participate in the IT Service Delivery team to learn about client interactions and IT processes, while identifying opportunities for improvement and serving as a liaison between business users and IT teams.

Responsibilities
Participate as a member of the IT Service Delivery team to learn and understand clients, business teams, and IT internal processes
Understand the tools and methodologies used to effectively elicit and document project requirements for IT solution development
Gain experience serving as a liaison between the business users and IT teams
Identify opportunities for improvement, including process optimization, risk and security mitigation, and technology utilization
Write and perform functional tests as well as user acceptance tests for applications and business processes
Strive to attain goals established by direct supervisors while meeting deadlines
Positive attitude toward self, other professionals, clients, and Myers and Stauffer
Respond to inquiries and requests timely and efficiently
Professional in appearance and manner
Additional responsibilities as assigned
This position could have the potential to become a direct hire in a full-time position after graduation
Qualification
Required
Intern must be working toward or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems or related field
Preferred
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence) or other team/project collaboration tools a plus
Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be able to work independently on projects and within a remote team environment
Ability to execute assigned projects within established deadlines
Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office suite
Self-motivated and eager to contribute
