Responsibilities

Lead innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering and technology
Provide hands-on support for lab, ground, and flight test events as well as customer training sessions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
Present findings and recommendations to engineering management, USAF Program Office, and USAF/AFSOC Leadership

Required

Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education
Extensive technical expertise and application of engineering principles
Experience with contractual documents and requirements
A passion for solving advanced technical problems and leading impactful projects
Expertise in systems engineering processes, system architecture, and verification and validation techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams
A customer-focused mindset that drives innovative solutions
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Preferred

Experience in software engineering, systems engineering, unmanned systems, or aircraft simulators
Prior DoD experience or experience in regulated industries
Familiarity with system ground and flight testing
A Professional Engineering License or published works are a plus
