InternZippo Manufacturing Company is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist in improving processes and developing new products. The intern will conduct experiments, prepare reports, and support engineering documentation while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and conduct a variety of experiments to improve current processes and develop new processes or products
Formulate corrective action reports based on testing and research. Recommend design and/or process changes and implement design or process changes as approved
Research new processes, operations, and manufacturing equipment
Set-up and test new equipment and process as deemed appropriate
Prepare memos, reports, and other engineering related documentation
Use computer and necessary software to write reports. Develop spreadsheet, charts table, graphs to support reports written
Read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering related documentation including charts and formulas (application of, as appropriate, MS Word – Excel – Outlook – AutoCAD – etc.)
Monitor and record problems with process and mechanical equipment and recommend corrective action
Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology with a minimum of one year engineering credits within the desired discipline
Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft AX operating system
