Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
Recovery of Cam Cradles through washing & remanufacturing process
Operate torque wrenches, hoist, air tools, gauges, presses
Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
Complete training matrix for each rotation position
Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
Other tasks and/or duties as requested
Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput

Required

Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently, with periodic lifts of up to 75lbs, (with assistance from a team member or use of hoist)
Ability to operate riveting, torquing, hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner
Read and understand Work Station Instruction documentation
Willingness to cross-train throughout the area

Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen
Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application

Preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
Previous mechanical experience
High School Diploma / GED is preferred and further college education a plus
