Responsibilities
Continuously monitor Supply Chain performance and recommend actionable plans to ensure production stability, achieve inventory targets, and maintain high levels of customer service
Manages and supports the Supply Chain Performance Analytics team in day-to-day operations
Provides expertise and training as needed in all Supply Chain systems and technologies including but not limited to; Microsoft Office Suite, ERP and MMIS supply chain functions, EDI systems, vendor management system, GPO and vendor provided databases
Assists with performance improvement initiatives, including documentation and reporting of outcome
Oversees the completion and accuracy of existing reports and implementation of new reporting and dashboards that will add value for customers based on feedback and market trends
Establishes, with senior leadership, appropriate key performance indicators for the team. Communicates priorities, analyzes data and leads process improvement activities to ensure continued pursuit of performance excellence
Identifies and oversees opportunities for optimization to the MMIS/ERP and is responsible for the oversight of other SC systems
Keeps current with new technology and environmental changes that would require planning and execution to stabilize the current investment of intelligence and analytics over time, mitigating down time or loss of functionality
Identify, analyze, propose and generate innovative solutions for broad types of problems and technological advancements in alignment with the vision and goals established by senior leadership
Leads and performs project work. Completes data analytic tasks in all areas of Supply Chain. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc data reports as requested to support the department
Leading team projects as assigned, manage the timeline, delegating team member assignments, identifying and solving barriers, implementing solutions, and communicates progress and results to senior leadership
Develops and manages effective relationships with internal departments, staff and suppliers
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration Business Analytics or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare supply chain operations, analytics, informatics and/or systems management
Minimum 3 years experience of hands-on management experience leading and developing teams
Demonstrated experience supporting and/or managing supply chain information systems within a hospital, health system or within the healthcare industry (e.g. ERP, inventory management, item master, contract management, or clinical-supply integration systems)
Experience managing system upgrades, integrations or optimization projects in the healthcare industry
Problem Solving Skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, regulated healthcare environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical and data driven insights into actionable recommendations for operational leaders and business stakeholders
In depth understanding of healthcare supply chain workflows, including procurement, inventory, distribution and clinical consumption
Proven ability to analyze and interpret supply chain data to support operational performance, cost management and standardization initiatives
Experience with collaborating with clinical, finance, IT and operational stakeholders to support system configuration, optimization and reporting
Working knowledge of data tools and technologies such as SQL, reporting platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or equivalent analytics solutions
