Employment Associate
Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide. They are seeking an associate with 4+ years of employment law experience to work on various employment litigations and provide advisory services to clients regarding workplace issues.
Responsibilities
Working on all aspects of employment litigations (e.g., discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete cases and breach of contract matters)
Everyday employment and HR-related counseling matters
Drafting of employment-related policies and agreements
Conducting investigations and trainings
Qualification
Required
Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
Must be admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts
At least four years of employment law experience, including experience:
Litigating employment matters before state and federal courts and administrative agencies
Advising employers on employment-related compliance matters
Drafting employment policies and employment-related agreements
Conducting investigations
Delivering employment-related compliance training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to problem solve and exercise sound judgment
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, take ownership over matters, and exercise attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings
