Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from medical staff and/or public responders as needed
Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor direction and/or wayfinding, and report suspicious activity or policy violations per post orders
Complete detailed shift documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
