VISTA Grief Support Development Coordinator

AmeriCorps is focused on building healthier communities through various program areas. The VISTA Grief Support Development Coordinator will support the Rooted program by enhancing its capacity and outreach to create a grief-informed community for families in Skagit County.

Responsibilities

Design systems and calendars for volunteer-led programming, including volunteer training schedules and hours tracking
Identifying and providing information on best-practices to the volunteer-led Advisory Board to guide program expansion
Seeking resources, including writing grants and creating templates for materials that encourage donations/sponsorships
Strengthening strategic relationships with schools and other grief organizations by developing referral systems
Enhancing sustainability by developing strategies and toolkits for outreach/education that can be used beyond their service term
