Responsibilities
Learn the role of a Roche Process Engineer and assess existing processes and equipment and identify and implement improvements
Lead and/or participate in equipment and process validations
Assist in troubleshooting of processes and/or equipment issues
Implement new or transferred manufacturing processes in a timely manner
Learn how to operate in a GMP environment and effectively manage process changes
Assist in designing and implementing new equipment and tools to improve manufacturing efficiencies, reduce ergonomic stress, and improve quality
Update, create and sustain Standard Work documents and update drawings using Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks
Work as part of a project team in the development and/or implementation of new equipment and tools
Technical support for daily production issues related to manufacturing equipment
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Base knowledge of lean manufacturing, and or base knowledge of medical devices
Knowledge of CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)
Strong problem solving skills and a willingness to learn
Preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
