Responsibilities
You’ll spend a good chunk of time owning month-end close activities — journal entries, accruals, intercompany eliminations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
You’ll also help prepare financial statements, disclosures, and supporting analysis, and support audits by pulling schedules, answering questions, and keeping things moving
Along the way, you’ll dig into technical accounting topics (leases, consolidations, revenue, impairments, debt), support ERP or process-improvement projects, and help document or refine how work gets done
This isn’t a static role — priorities will shift, and you’ll be trusted to adapt and help solve problems as they come up
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or actively working toward CPA
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in multi-entity or consolidated environments
Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and financial reporting
Solid GAAP knowledge (especially areas like ASC 842, 810, 360)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, nested formulas, lookups)
Preferred
Experience in high-growth retail or healthcare environments
Exposure to SOX compliance and audit support
Experience with systems like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, or similar
Familiarity with tools like Trintech, Workiva, GTreasury, or BI/reporting platforms
Comfort presenting or explaining financial analysis to stakeholders
