Responsibilities
Leads detailed workflow mapping and gap analysis across complex clinical environments
Designs and executes comprehensive validation and testing strategies for system changes and optimizations
Serves as subject matter expert during go‑live, adoption, and stabilization phases
Guides teams through change management processes and ensures stakeholder alignment
Mentors P1–P2 informaticists on workflow analysis, testing, and deliverable quality
Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements, data standards, and industry best practices in clinical informatics, applying them to system design and management for the specialty area
Analyzes data and performance metrics to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements
Serves as a liaison between clinical departments and IT, ensuring that clinical needs are represented in system development and deployment
Qualification
Required
5-8 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related field for specified position required
1-3 years of experience in a senior or lead role
Advanced understanding of clinical workflow design, optimization, and process improvement
Strong skills in test planning, validation, and troubleshooting of clinical system functionality
Excellent communication and facilitation abilities to lead cross‑functional discussions
Ability to interpret data and present insights for decision‑making
Effective project coordination with the ability to lead portions of complex initiatives
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results independently
Professionalism and adaptability in dynamic clinical settings
Certification in Clinical Informatics (e.g., ANCC Informatics Nursing Certification, CAHIMS/CPHIMS) Oracle Health Cerner
Clinical license or bachelor's degree in a health or informatics field
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
