Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
Monitoring student development and identifying concerns early, then adapting approaches in partnership with your team
Building a classroom environment that is structured, engaging, and deeply personalized
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, afterschool, coaching, or comparable settings
Strong storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young children in group settings
Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
