Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. The role involves ensuring standard quality practices are followed, performing SIT/End-to-end testing, and designing test scripts to identify defects prior to production.

Responsibilities

Work with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed
Perform SIT/End-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC
Design and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production
May also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defects

Required

Minimum 8+ years of experience in QA testing
2+ years of Selenium Automation experience
Knowledge and working experience on Agile testing Methodology
Hands-on experience in Web Services testing including Soap UI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ and Unix
Experience on Frontend, ETL and Database testing, with extensive working experience in writing and executing SQL queries
Unix, SQL Putty, Soap UI, WinSCP App Watch MQ, Splunk, JBoss
Autosys, TOAD, HP ALM JIRA
Log validations experience or Files validations manually
Unix commands experience

Preferred

API testing
Middleware MQ/Kafka testing
BDD Selenium automation
