Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to understand their business questions and reporting needs
Contribute to core analytics projects and initiatives that support corporate strategy
Query data from our data warehouse using SQL to support ad hoc analysis
Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards in Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Use Excel for data cleaning, manipulation, and quick analysis (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
Assist in scoping and defining analysis projects into well-defined milestones
Learn and contribute to data models within our dbt (data build tool) environment under the guidance of senior team members
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and escalate data quality or dashboard performance issues
Maintain relationships and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding project status and manage expectations
Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting of data
Qualification
Required
MUST live in Austin
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
0-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field (strong internship or project experience is highly valued)
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and charting
Strong foundational knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
Experience with a data visualization tool, preferably Tableau (building dashboards, calculated fields)
Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn DBT and data modeling concepts
Ability to analyze information and effectively present concepts in written, spreadsheet, and presentation formats
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to support the analytics team and internal customers on tight deadlines

Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently analyze and resolve data challenges
A strong curiosity and passion for learning new technologies and business processes
Good organizational and time-management skills
Can understand broad business context and begin to translate them into data analysis with guidance
