Responsibilities
Conduct 1:1 and small-group coaching that converts student objectives into reliable action and quantifiable results
Leverage analytics and student aspirations to identify obstacles and design ambitious, personalized accountability frameworks
Facilitate demanding life-skills workshops through authentic storytelling, guided reflection, and practical application, then evaluate mastery
Guide daily opening sessions that establish culture, uphold rigorous expectations, and prepare students before work begins
Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards, reliability, and thoughtful judgment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
At least one verifiable elite marker (athletics, academics, professional achievement, or elite-level coaching)
Demonstrated experience in direct mentoring, coaching, or leadership that produced measurable improvement in others' performance
Comfort working in high-accountability settings with explicit standards and consistent execution
Capability to facilitate engaging, high-rigor group workshops and coach individuals with sound judgment
Availability to work full-time on-site at an Alpha campus: San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or New York City, NY
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
Experience applying data and analytics to inform coaching strategies and accountability systems
History in competitive firms, high-growth startups, or elite athletics environments with rigorous performance standards
