Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute claim reports for company’s self- and alternative-funded clients
Order, organize, and prepare claim analysis reports for midyear and renewal client meetings
Assist with fully insured and some self or alternative-funded renewal marketing for existing clients
Help with benchmark reporting and additional claim analysis reporting as requested by clients
Maintain and grow knowledge of health insurance carrier products and value-added services
Keep up to date on ongoing federal and state regulations
Update clients and account managers of regulation or policy changes
Qualification
Required
A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree (in business, math, or related field strongly preferred), and a minimum of 2 years customer service experience
Willingness and ability to obtain a life & health insurance license
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, demonstrating ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example
Preferred
Previous group health insurance experience
Previous insurance underwriting and/or insurance carrier customer service experience
