Responsibilities
Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up requests for technical assistance
Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and connectivity
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning
Document solutions and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system
Answer users’ questions about basic IT tools and applications
Help ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in implementing best practices
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency in searching the web and using AI tools to locate accurate information to resolve issues
Ability to explain technical problems to nontechnical employees
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates with formal education or certifications; however, substantial experience in the field will also be taken into account
Experience with any of the following technologies will be given preference: Microsoft 365 applications: Intune, PowerApps, Flow, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc. Business software (e.g., Office Suite, ERP, File Transfer Portals, etc.)
