Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date billing system
Promote and support customer adoption of the online billing portal
Perform billing and reporting activities in accordance with established deadlines
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Collect data and prepare monthly accounts receivable metrics
Prepare manual invoices as required
Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash applications, and adjustments
Process accounts receivable adjustments as needed
Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, payment habits, and business operations
Assist with month-end close activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations
Perform additional duties as assigned or required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Experience with ERP systems required
Three (3) to five (5) years of accounts receivable experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to write reports and professional correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees
Process-oriented with a focus on consistency and standardization
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Self-motivated and able to meet the demands of the role
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
Effectively monitors own work and follows through on commitments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
