Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on information technology equipment and software
Perform complex duties related to troubleshooting, configuring, performing diagnostics and assignment specific desktop and network hardware and software issues and respond appropriately to customer service requests
Operate, maintain, and perform repairs personal computers, laptops and peripherals
Assist with imaging, set up, and deployment of PC/Laptops and support hardware moves throughout the Department
Provide 2nd level help desk support
Lift equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds
Have a valid California Driver's License, Class C

Required

US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US
Ability to operate, maintain, and perform repairs on information technology equipment and software
Ability to perform complex duties related to troubleshooting, configuring, performing diagnostics and assignment specific desktop and network hardware and software issues and respond appropriately to customer service requests
Ability to operate, maintain, and perform repairs on personal computers, laptops and peripherals
Ability to assist with imaging, set up, and deployment of PC/Laptops and support hardware moves throughout the Department
Ability to provide 2nd level help desk support
Ability to lift equipment that weighs up to 50 pounds
Valid California Driver's License, Class C
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 Operating System and software updates
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
Knowledge of imaging software and automated imaging processes using MECM/SCCM
Knowledge of PC/Laptop deployments
Knowledge of teleworking and VPN solutions
Knowledge of principles and practices of customer service
Knowledge of principles and practices of troubleshooting computer system hardware and software problems
Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check (livescan) before starting work
In office support schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
