Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, assist with trial preparation if needed
Take and defend depositions
Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
Assist in strategy development and client communications
Manage caseload and deadlines with attention to detail
Collaborate with team members on complex litigation matters
Qualification
Required
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
Strong academic credentials and legal writing skills
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
Preferred
J.D. from an accredited law school preferred but not required
