Responsibilities
Design, extend, and harden DevOps infrastructure supporting product development and production systems
Design scalable deployment and configuration strategies for on-premises and cloud-based environments
Investigate, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and supporting architecture
Improve automation, regression testing, and test coverage to reduce developer touch time
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production system issues to minimize downtime
Evaluate, prioritize, and remediate infrastructure and operational problems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and implementation
Participate in design and code reviews
Document system architectures and clearly communicate technical decisions to peers and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, or similar)
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) tools such as SaltStack , Ansible, or Chef
Expertise with configuration management and version control systems (Git, Perforce)
Experience managing CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, JFrog Artifactory, etc.)
Proficiency with Shell/Bash and at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
Expert-level Linux systems administration experience, including configuration, hardening, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with on-premises and cloud cybersecurity best practices
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, or a strong drive to learn
Experience working in multi-cloud environments, or a strong desire to develop this skill set
