Responsibilities
Hands on engagement in ongoing department tasks such as:
Financial Data Analysis
Financial Reporting (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly)
Participation in routine closing activities
Assistance with Operational Finance planning activities
Engagement in Lean methodologies (digitization/simplification)
Participation in GE mentoring and networking opportunities
Qualification
Required
Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a 4 year-college or university program in the Louisville, KY area, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Must be graduating in May 2027 or later
Must commit to working year-round (minimum of 2 semesters)
Must be able to work 20-25 hrs/wk onsite at GE Appliances facility during the school year (around class schedules) and 30-40 hrs/wk during the Summer
Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future
