Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale, full-stack solutions using Java (backend) and React (frontend)
Define and evolve solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
Provide hands-on guidance and code-level oversight when needed
Review and validate technical designs, implementation approaches, and deployment strategies
Partner with cloud and platform teams to build and operate solutions on GCP (preferred) or other cloud platforms
Lead cloud-native solution implementations, ideally on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Oversee design and delivery of services, APIs, and front-end applications deployed on cloud infrastructure
Ensure best practices across CI/CD, observability, security, and operational readiness
Guide teams in building and operating production-grade, full-stack cloud solutions
Own delivery planning, execution tracking, and coordination across workstreams
Develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and status reporting
Proactively identify and mitigate technical, delivery, and organizational risks
Ensure alignment between architecture decisions and delivery timelines
Protect team focus while managing scope, priorities, and trade-offs with stakeholders
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for enterprise client stakeholders
Lead architecture and delivery discussions with senior business and technology leaders
Clearly communicate technical concepts, risks, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences
Constructively challenge assumptions and guide stakeholders toward optimal outcomes
Coordinate with client partners and vendors in multi-vendor environments
Lead and mentor architects, engineers, and technical leads across distributed teams
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and engineering excellence
Coach teams on architecture standards, delivery discipline, and best practices
Promote continuous improvement across delivery and technical execution
Qualification
Required
15+ years of overall experience, including experience as a Senior / Lead Architect
Strong full-stack development background with Java (backend) and React (frontend)
Proven experience leading architecture for complex, enterprise-scale systems
Solid cloud experience, with GCP strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to combine technical leadership with project management responsibilities
Experience working directly with enterprise clients in highly visible roles
Experience leading distributed delivery teams across geographies
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
