Responsibilities

Leading several teams of Inspectors, Quality Analysts, and Quality Engineering personnel in the development, test and operation of Flight Hardware and Surface Ground Equipment in support of the US Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program and the Orion Crew Module program
Interface will include leadership to Quality team members ensuring support to various organizations including: Engineering, Test Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, and customers to include the Navy Program office, DCMA, NASA, and Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU)
Collaborate with and receive direction from executive Quality Management to ensure FBM and Space Quality objectives and commitments are achieved
Responsibility and oversite for teams located at the U.S. Navy Strategic Weapons Facilities (SWFs), specifically SWFLANT and SWFPAC

Required

Advanced degree in a technical discipline or business management
Experience operating within a structured Quality Management System (i.e. AS9100), and associated quality processes/standards
Experience with change management building a culture of accountability
Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to coordinate with numerous internal and external organizations
In-depth knowledge of FBM or Orion practices and processes
Basic understanding of Ground Support Equipment, both Electrical and Mechanical
Experience building relationships with DCMA and U.S. Government customers
Demonstrated strong team building skills
Ability to travel to team locations as required
