Market Development Manager
OPW is a global leader in fluid-handling solutions, and they are seeking a dynamic Market Development Manager to lead commercialization planning for the Data Center Cooling market. The role involves driving revenue growth through market analysis, product launch execution, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and product leaders.

Responsibilities
New Market Penetration
Spearhead commercialization efforts for Data Center Cooling
Provide product introductions and training for value based outcomes
Channel Development/GTM Strategy Creation
Design a channel strategy; execute upon approval
Target and call on EPCs and Engineering Consulting Firms to obtain AML or Specification position
Collaborate with other Dover businesses leveraging existing relationships and market intel
Action Planning and Execution
Create Action Plans in alignment with Sales and Product Management
Measure activity and success via agreed upon KPIs
Achieve Sales goals for applicable initiative
Portfolio and Product Line Expansion
Seek out and collate market intelligence and customer VOC
Work closely with Product Management to create business case justification for product development investments
Budgeting and Forecast Planning
Work closely with Marketing to plan and execute sales support planning culminating in a clear budget for AOP planning
Work with customers to create a demand plan and communicate effectively with operations and finance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business, Engineering or other similar discipline
5+ years of experience in Sales (Data Center experience a plus)
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international
Proven experience in strategic market penetration working primarily as an individual contributor
Excellent organizational skills including the use of CRM
A strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a matrixed organizational environment
Demonstrated ability to lead successful product launches and research new markets
Able to take proper VOC and transform into clear value propositions
Decisive and assertive with the ability to create flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a collaborative manner
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to quickly assess situations and make judgments based on practice or previous experience
