Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate 2–4 live online domain sessions per week that develop competition-standard problem-solving
Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for particular competitions through practice tests, timed exercises, and comprehensive feedback
Identify weaknesses quickly and build individualized development strategies linked to each student's objectives and contest schedule
Monitor student advancement using a structured mathematics growth framework and modify teaching methods based on data
Develop original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional content that other teachers can deploy at scale

Required

Documented elite mathematical accomplishment (e.g., Olympiad medal, AIME qualification, top national ranking, or equivalent verifiable record)

Capacity to convey advanced mathematics in a straightforward, intuitive manner to gifted young students
Thorough knowledge of mathematics competition structures, content, and preparation methods (e.g., AMC, AIME, Olympiads)
Effective virtual instruction skills and capacity to connect with students via video
Commitment to 5–10 hours per week
Dependable internet connection and a professional video setup

Preferred

Recent, ongoing participation as a contestant, coach, or competition-oriented content developer
Background creating reusable instructional libraries, problem collections, or curricula for other educators to implement
Student achievement records such as qualifications, rankings, medals, or other verified competition results
