Operating Model & Org Design Consultant
Evolve Partners is supporting an international management consultancy in search of a high-impact consultant. The role involves leading the design of a new operating model and organizational structure for a private equity-backed portfolio company undergoing major structural changes.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of a new target operating model (TOM) and org structure
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and process mapping
Drive analysis to support decisions on functional split and capability needs
Work closely with senior leadership while managing confidentiality throughout
Deliver insights with structure, clarity, and speed
Qualification
Required
Proven consulting background (ideally from a strategy, operations, or transformation practice)
Strong experience in org design and operating model transformation
Track record working with mid-size businesses or PE-backed transformations
Confident in process mapping and structured problem-solving
Able to be onsite in Kansas City 3+ days/week
Available to start in 1–2 weeks
Preferred
Experience with business carve-outs or restructuring
Familiarity with TOM frameworks (e.g., McKinsey 7S, Galbraith Star Model)
