Manufacturing Intern
Skydio is the leading US drone company and the world leader in autonomous flight, seeking interns for the Summer 2026 Season. The Quality Engineering Intern will help define and develop quality standards and practices for products, ensuring manufacturing quality meets rigorous customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Root cause and resolve quality yield and customers facing product quality concerns
Define, Measure, and Improve our quality metrics and analytics
Evaluate the performance and reliability of our products and factory quality systems
Work closely with other members of the various engineering teams across Skydio
Have a strong sense of ownership and autonomy over your work
Qualification
Required
A junior, senior, or MS-level student - Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Previous Intern Experience with Solid Works, Data Analysis, etc
An understanding of quality principles – PFMEA, DFM, DFA, stack up analysis
Ability to clearly articulate problem statements, with root cause analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions
Preferred
Experience with Databricks, SQL is a plus
