Responsibilities
Ability to apply practical engineer science, design and technology
Understanding of current manufacturing processes and how they relate to design
Conceptualize, design and oversea fabrication of efficient complex mechanical systems and analyze for manufacturability and cost
Be able to understand and produce engineering drawings
Create procedures for carrying out various mechanical testing
Communicate changes in design and assembly with management and production staff
Estimate cost to produce design including material and labor costs (assembly and fabrication)
Calculate mechanical requirements to meet system design specifications
Understanding of static and dynamic events and how they relate to structural integrity
Ability to design electronic packages for harsh environments and maintain required reliability
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and their effect on mechanical performance
Working knowledge of techniques to mitigate EMI issues
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is required
Ability to apply practical engineer science, design and technology

3D Modeling (Pro/E, Catia, Solidworks, etc. Solidworks preferred)
3D Engineering analysis tools. (ANSYS/Solidworks Simulation etc.)
Microsoft Office including the use of Excel and an engineering tool
Preferred
PhD is optional
Master degree is optional
Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position): ESD
Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department
