Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental revenue objectives
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that maximize occupancy, group bookings, and overall profitability
Actively participate in the selling process, including prospecting, conducting client presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing key business
Identify and cultivate relationships with top corporate, group, and incentive clients, as well as third-party partners and travel professionals
Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations to align strategies and deliver a seamless guest experience
Analyze market trends, competitive data, and business performance to inform pricing, positioning, and sales initiatives
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Qualification
Required
6+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role
Proven track record of driving revenue and market share in a luxury or lifestyle resort environment
Demonstrated success as a hands-on seller with strong prospecting and closing skills
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for motivating and developing high-performing teams
Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and hotel sales software (such as Delphi or Opera Sales)
A deep appreciation for hospitality, wellness, and delivering transformative guest experiences
