Administrative Assistant

Oklahoma Educators Credit Union is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its executive leadership team. The role requires a proactive and organized professional who can manage communications, provide customer service, and handle various administrative tasks while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with the credit union's standards.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the credit union’s executive leadership team
Provide multifaceted administrative support and manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
Manage incoming communications, take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by proactively gathering, analyzing, and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff
Provides customer service to internal and/or external members, vendors, and employees with accuracy and professional tact
Conducts research, composes, prepares, edits, and/or proofs a variety of items such as emails, letters, reports, invoices, memorandums, PDFs, charts, and spreadsheets using a variety of software suites. Assists with the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Assists with special assets that contain various legal complexities and sensitive timelines (i.e. bankruptcies, foreclosures, garnishments, recovery of losses, etc.)
Ensures compliance with credit union’s standards, processes, and policies in all tasks
Assists with coordinating meetings and special events by scheduling, creating agendas, ordering meals, making reservations, and communicating with meeting participants and vendors
Performs various administrative functions such as sending and receiving faxes, disseminating information to intended parties, making and distributing copies of documents, scanning, maintaining and organizing files, and preparing outgoing mail
Handle miscellaneous errands, order supplies, coordinate travel, prepare expense reports and other tasks as assigned
Develops plans to meet deadlines
Consistently work hours as scheduled. Demonstrate responsiveness and reliability, providing occasional support outside standard business hours
May perform other duties as assigned

Required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Must be organized and able to prioritize workload while conscientiously managing timelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Flexible to work extended hours as required to meet project deadlines
Must be professional at all times and serve as a role model for other OECU employees
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
2+ years' experience supporting senior leadership

Preferred

Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a leadership role
