Responsibilities
Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing reading skills delivered by Reading Specialists
Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
Coaching skills such as emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive warmth
Monitoring student progress and identifying needs, surfacing concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
Building a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and personalization
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
Bachelor's degree in any field
3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in education, afterschool, coaching, or similar environments
Strong storytelling ability and energetic presentation skills: capable of engaging and maintaining the attention of groups of young children
Ability to maintain high expectations for yourself and students, and motivate children to reach their goals
Growth mindset and receptiveness to coaching
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
