Purchasing Supply Chain Manager
Forza is seeking a Purchasing Supply Chain Manager to oversee the strategic and tactical management of purchasing, production scheduling, inventory, and supplier relationships. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations aligned with company goals while also managing a team and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with company goals, ensuring material availability to meet production and sales forecasts
Lead capacity planning, demand forecasting, and supplier sourcing strategies to support growth
Serve as the supply chain liaison to the GM and Leadership Team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations
Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies for supplier performance, lead time, and cost volatility
Manage dual sourcing of all critical components and raw materials
Safe guard GP through aggressively monitoring costs
Manage strategic relationships with 'Platinum' and critical vendors, negotiating optimal pricing, terms, and service levels
Oversee vendor onboarding, qualification, and performance review programs
Approve high-value purchase orders, ensuring cost control and compliance with quality requirements
Partner with sales and operations to set and review reorder points for products and raw materials
Identify and implement cost savings opportunities through improved sourcing, vendor consolidation, or alternate materials
Oversee the creation, scheduling, and management of work orders in ERP to meet stocking and production requirements
Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and that work instructions are current and properly documented
Coordinate closely with production to align supply availability with production schedules and customer delivery requirements
Monitor and optimize inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Take final responsibility for inventory levels and drive down stock
Direct rolling inventory counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory adjustments
Collaborate with sales to address slow-moving or obsolete inventory
Oversee inbound freight, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of materials
Work with Finance to align purchasing strategies with cash flow goals
Partner with Quality to ensure suppliers meet all product, compliance, and certification requirements
Provide Sales with lead time and cost updates that impact customer pricing or delivery
Support Operations in continuous improvement projects related to material flow and production efficiency
Maintain ERP system data integrity for all supply chain activities
Develop and track KPIs for supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, inventory turns, and on-time delivery
Provide weekly and monthly supply chain performance reports to the GM
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, quality standards, and company policies
Continuously evaluate supply chain processes, implementing lean and cost-optimization initiatives
Promote a culture of proactive problem solving and high accountability within the supply chain team
Qualification
Required
Strategic and tactical management of purchasing, production scheduling, inventory, and supplier relationships
Experience in developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with company goals
Ability to lead capacity planning, demand forecasting, and supplier sourcing strategies
Experience serving as a supply chain liaison to senior management
Skills in identifying risks in the supply chain and implementing mitigation strategies
Experience managing dual sourcing of critical components and raw materials
Ability to monitor costs aggressively to safeguard gross profit
