Handle insurance bad faith and coverage litigation matters
Manage complex commercial litigation cases
Independently run cases from inception through resolution
Conduct and defend depositions
Handle oral arguments and trial appearances
Serve as first chair on matters with hands on case leadership
Appear in both federal and state courts
Provide strategic, business friendly legal counsel to clients
Manage cases with minimal oversight
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) required
Licensed to practice in Washington; Oregon license a plus
8–12 years of litigation experience
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience independently handling full lifecycle litigation matters
Preferred
Deposition, trial, and oral advocacy experience preferred
First chair litigation experience preferred
Federal and state court experience preferred
Experience in large or boutique law firm preferred
Some portable business is a plus, but not required
