Responsibilities
Design and implement seamless automated pipelines using GitLab for AWS government cloud deployments
Optimize CI/CD platform to elevate application delivery performance
Oversee and manage GitLab CI/CD systems ensuring efficient integration and operation
Collaborate on improving containerization strategies and reinforce security best practices
Incorporate secure deployment processes, including automated security checks
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in Git and GitLab CI/CD tools to streamline code management
Advanced proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and EKS
Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes for superior container management
Competency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks
Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and comparable tools
Familiarity with security testing methodologies and container scanning technologies like Trivy or Prisma
Knowledge of GitOps principles and deployment tools, including ArgoCD/Flux
Proven experience with Ansible or CloudFormation for sophisticated IaC implementations
Preferred
Certifications in GitLab or AWS is a plus
